Radnor township sewer rent12/6/2023 ![]() Resident Paul Perrot, who has lived in Radnor for 60 years, told commissioners that he objects to the property tax increase. A 6 percent increase represents a $63 increase for the median household and would generate an additional $760,000 in revenue for the township, according to William White, township finance director. A mill equates to $1 in taxes per $1,000 in assessed property value. The millage rate was set at 4.1582, a 0.2354-mill increase. ![]() Zienkowski said an estimated $15 million in sewer repairs are needed. Although the township recently borrowed $4.5 million for the sewer fund, part of that money was used to repay the general fund for the costs of emergency sewer repairs. Repairs to the aging system are needed, said Robert Zienkowski, township manager. The board also voted 5-2 to increase the sewer rent fee by 10 percent, with commissioners Richard Booker and Jake Abel opposing.
